BOSPHORUS

The Bosphorus, or Bosporus, is the strait between the continents of Asia and Europe. It contains 3 bridges and a tunnel connecting the two continents. There are regular touristic tours in the Bosphorus and there are many historical buildings that can be seen on these tours. Some of these are the Maiden's Tower, Dolmabahçe Palace, Çırağan Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Küçüksu Pavilion, Beykoz Pavilion. 

 

The most important feature of the Bosphorus is that it is a passage separating the European continent from the Asian continent.
